Marathon Physical Therapy would like to congratulate all runners in the Boston Marathon on a job well done. 26.2 miles isn’t so bad, is it? Marathon was stationed at the bottom of Heartbreak Hill to assist runners before their ascent.
Marathon would like to thank Children’s Hospital of Boston, Dr. Martha Murray, Dr. Ellen Geminiani, and Wheaton College for their collaboration on the ACL Injury Prevention in the Young and Adolescent Female Athlete seminar held of May 3rd. Check out Marathon Insight for more details.
Marathon’s Director of Women’s Health/Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, Jessica McKinney, is travelling to Goma, Congo in June to participate in education initiatives at HEAL Africa, a hospital that provides surgical repair, as well as social and psychological support for women suffering the physical and emotional effects of traumatic and/or obstetric fistula.
