» This class brings together exercises that will test your flexibility, strength and endurance by incorporating foam rolling, a dynamic warm-up, core stability exercises and functional strengthening and conditioning exercises. This class is open to all levels.
» "Functional strength" will focus on strengthening and improving endurance in the core, lower body, and upper body, while incorporating balance, stability, and cardiovascular training. Exercises will be multi-segmental to simulate everyday movements that can improve everyday function, mobility, posture, and strength.
» Many of the exercises will involve body weight, kettlebells, medicine balls, and exercise bands.
» The class will not involve any plyometric (jumping) activities and is safe for those returning to fitness activities after an injury.
