School of Pelvic Health

WHAT IS THE SCHOOL OF PELVIC HEALTH?

An addition to existing pelvic and obstetric healthcare pathways, the School of Pelvic Health (SPH) gives patients a head start in their recovery, whether waiting for other interventions (surgery, physical therapy, etc), or not.

SPH is a multi-dimensional program that includes pelvic education seminars taught by specialized physical therapists (PTs), one-on-one PT consultations, group-based exercise and movement classes including Yoga, and personal fitness trainers and massage therapists experienced with obstetric and pelvic floor concerns.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE SCHOOL OF PELVIC HEALTH?

Any individual who is appropriate for pelvic floor physical therapy (PFPT) is an excellent candidate for SPH including women during preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum, or any women desiring an educated and proactive approach to their pelvic health.
