1 Simple Step to Overcoming Excuses and Crushing your Fitness Goals

Excuses are easy when rationalizing a missed workout.  You have the tools you need, but cannot carve out the effort due to the pile of laundry or inbox full of emails.

Do you have goals?  What is your plan? Who is keeping you accountable and motivated?

Here’s my simple step that will help you answer these questions-  train with a professional coach. Being healthy and fit is so much more than your doctor’s recommendation, it is feeling great, it is confidence, it is lower healthcare costs, it is better sleep, it is improved focus and energy, it is becoming the best possible version of yourself so that you can be everything everyone relies on you to be.

When choosing your certified fitness coach consider their educational background, certifications, and their personal goals.  College degrees in a science field such as exercise, health, kinesiology, or physiology provide a proper base to your coach’s understanding and approach to training.  Certifications strengthen your coach’s philosophies and strategies. Ensure certifications are from a recognized organization and require a BS in a science field. Lastly, choose a coach that shares your interests and goals.  Common experiences or anything you can both relate to is a fun way to build a professional relationship with your trainer.

Take a simple step, work with a professional. A private coach will hold you accountable, help you set a realistic goal, and make a plan to get you living your best life!
